The Detroit Lions have become a hot name heading into the 2023 NFL season. The team, coached by Dan Campbell, finished 8-2 last season after a dismal start. Though they still missed the playoffs, many believe they will be a formidable foe for the Kansas City Chiefs when they open the season on September 7th.
Campbell, who is known for pulling zero punches, joined Kyle Brandt on Good Morning Football to talk about the opportunity of playing KC.
“The heavyweight champ! I think everyone wants an opportunity to play the champ and see how you stack up,” Campbell said. “They’re betting on we won’t get our asses kicked.”
