The Chiefs narrowly escaped Denver last Sunday with a 34-28 victory that kept KC tied for the best record in the AFC. While KC did give up four touchdowns to the Broncos, the defense was able to force two turnovers which helped seal the deal for the Chiefs. The game’s final turnover came by way of corner L’Jarius Sneed, who picked off Brett Rypien late in the game.
Sneed happened to be mic’d up for the game and was heard calling his shot before the interception even happened.
“Just block for me when I pick this mug.” Sneed was heard saying to safety Juan Thornhill the play before he actually cam away with the pick.
