Patrick and Brittany Mahomes welcomed their new baby, a son, Patrick Lavon “Bronze” Mahomes III on Monday November 28th. The baby was said to be healthy and happy and, luckily for Patrick, waited to be born the day after a big football game against the Rams.
At Wednesday’s press conference Mahomes was asked about the experience and how the “Bronze” nickname came about. The Mahomes’ daughter is named Sterling while their dogs as silver and Steel. According to Patrick himself, his brother Jackson came up with the nickname.
Also, huge props to Patrick who championed his wife Brittany for being a “champ” through the whole baby process. The Chiefs will travel to Cincinnati to take on the 7-4 Bengals this Sunday at 3:25 PM. We can assume Bronze will likely not be ready to attend his first NFL game quite yet!
