Chiefs fans having trouble putting the memories of Tyreek Hill out of their minds got a little dose of the cheetah on Wednesday as he took to Twitter to answer a simple question posed by @NFLonFox on Twitter. The question was simply: who is the best receiver in the NFL right now is….?
So, was Tyreek placating or taking a jab at former teammate Mecole Hardman when he mentioned his name in a retweet?
Hardman has 25 catches for 297 yards this season and would never be confused as being the best receiver in the league. Hill went on to mention other players like current Dolphin teammates River Cracraft, Jaylen Waddle and Trent Sherifield.
Perhaps Hill was just feeling nostalgic and wanted to shout-out a former teammate but, regardless, it seems strange that he brought up Hardman. The duo played together in Kansas City from 2019-2021 and many believe Hardman was drafted to possibly replace Hill for the 2019 season.
