The Kansas City Chiefs were able to pull off a trade just before Tuesday’s deadline as they send cornerback Rashad Fenton to the Atlanta Falcons per various league sources.
Fenton was a former sixth round pick in the 2019 draft and was likely to be relegated to a backup roll after rookie corner Trent McDuffie returns from injury. The Chiefs will receive a conditional seventh-round pick in return and will save over $1 million against the cap.
