Nothing like being traded to another team to bring out the Twitter trolls and that is exactly what happened to new Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney after being traded from the Giants on Thursday. Toney, injured for most of the season thus far, was sent to KC for a 3rd and 6th round pick in 2023 and will hope to reignite his promising career.
Toney had Giants fans calling him out for underwhelming during his first two seasons in the league and some even slid into his DM’s. Toney decided to clap back with some classic responses (mind the less than stellar language from both parties).
You can see that the fan is accusing Toney of faking injuries and (in not so pleasant terms), Toney assures the fan that this is not the case.
Chiefs fans should be no stranger to players going to war on Twitter as players like Anthony Hitchens and Tyrann Mathieu engaged in such an activity on the regular.
