Perhaps lost in the Chiefs triumphant 41-31 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a personal foul call that went against safety Juan Thornhill in the second half. Thornhill was called for the penalty after hitting Bucs receiver Mike Evans in the back of the end zone which dislodged the ball and caused an incompletion.
Thornhill took to Twitter after the game to question the call which could result in a fine by the NFL. The Chiefs went on to win the game easily, thus, the penalty did not serve to hurt the Chiefs too deeply.
