Len Dawson was the first quarterback to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to a Super Bowl victory. At the conclusion of the 1969 season, Len Dawson helped the Chiefs vanquish the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV. Len has been such a figure in Kansas City as a player and then a sports anchor on KMBC 9 News. It has been reported, with permission from Len Jr., that Len is in hospice.
