The football world is now well aware that Joe Burrow threw for 444 yards and 4 touchdowns against the Chiefs in a week 17 matchup which resulted in a last-second Bengals victory. NFL Network’s Chris Carter and Kyle Brandt broke down the Chiefs/Bengals rematch on this morning’s “Good Morning Football” show and it appeared they were grasping at straws while pumping up the Bengals.
“What is especially relevant to me is the Chiefs didn’t make any mistakes in that game and they still lost”
NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt
I guess someone forgot to alert Mr. Brandt that the Chiefs were flagged for crippling penalty after crippling penalty including a hold on a kickoff returned for a touchdown late in the first half. Not to mention the defensive lapses and inability to cover Ja’Marr Chase who went off for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns (he hasn’t been in the endzone since).
Chris Carter also got in on the Bengals action.
“They’ve been able to do what few teams have been able to, they left no time on the clock for Mahomes.”
