This week, former Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu returned to his alma mater LSU to re-engage with the program. Mathieu attended LSU football practice, sat in on meetings and even set up an endowment to help future student athletes.

Mathieuโ€™s message to the LSU football players spoke to his own journey to success.

โ€œYour focus should be where youโ€™re going, not where we come from.โ€ Mathieu said. โ€œIf you focus on your future and you take care of that, you will be able to turn around someday and bless more people that you can imagine.โ€
