The general feeling among Chiefs players (including Patrick Mahomes) following Jaguars safety Andre Cisco injuring JuJu Smith-Schuster on Sunday was anger. Many players took to social media and stated in interviews that the team rallied around JuJu (and later Marquez Valdez-Scantling) and made sure they were taking care of their guys out there.
Travis Kelce had yet to discuss the matter but did today and his “New Heights” podcast with brother Jason. Travis spoke in great detail about the team’s 27-17 win over the Jaguars and revealed his thoughts on Cisco’s hits.
“It just rips your heart out man,” Kelce stated on the podcast. “Everyone on the sideline and everyone in the game was pissed.”
