While the Chiefs were preparing an epic Super Bowl parade in downtown Kansas City, perennial sports grinch Stephen A. Smith was busy burying Andy Reid on ESPN’s First Take. While news of offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy interviewing with other teams continue to circulate, Stephen believes that it’s Andy Reid’s fault that Bieniemy has never been given a head coaching job.
Smith continued to pile on Reid by saying that Andy Reid is holding Bieniemy back from obtaining a head coaching job. Stephen cites Reid’s decision to put play-calling duties on himself is costing Bieniemy in the long run.
