We know all about Patrick Mahomes’ NFL accolades which are bordering on unprecedented for a player just five years into a career. Mahomes has already been a two-time NFL and Super Bowl MVP and no current player comes close to that resume. Patrick’s football career began back in Whitehouse, TX where he starred for the Wildcats and was later a 3-star recruit. His high school highlights have recently resurfaced courtesy of Max Preps and they are pretty jaw-dropping.
With highlights like these, it makes you wonder how Mahomes was not offered by more schools around the country. Texas Tech would eventually be the landing place for Patrick as he worked his way up to becoming a 10th overall pick by the Chiefs in the 2017 NFL Draft.
