Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is known for spectacular plays and for spreading the ball around to multiple targets. One thing we had yet to see is Mahomes completing a pass…to himself. This feat occurred during the first quarter of the Chiefs/Broncos game on the team’s opening drive. The play resulted in Mahomes running with the ball and very nearly picked up the first down.
The Chiefs would score on this drive to go up 6-0 in the first quarter. The extra point would fail after punter Tommy Townsend botched the hold.
