WATCH: Patrick Mahomes comments on the potential for future QB sneaks

We all remember where we were the last time the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes ran a QB sneak. Mahomes got the first down against Denver that night but suffered a dislocated knee cap during the play which kept him out of two games that season. The Chiefs have not ran any quarterback sneaks since that freak accident occurred and now Patrick is talking about the idea of bringing the play back.

The Chiefs have, undoubtedly, struggled in short yardage situations since 2019 but have yet to implement the sneak back into the playbook.

I always say I haven’t got stopped yet,” Mahomes said. “I’m pretty sure he’s (Andy Reid) not going to let me do it unless it’s for the Super Bowl.”
