It’s a small price to pay really. A child spectator at The Match at The Wynn in Las Vegas on Thursday was hit by Patrick Mahomes’ tee shot. The shot wound up on the green after hitting the kid and taking a fortuitous bounce. Mahomes and teammate Travis Kelce defeated the team of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson during the event, but the kid in question will never forget what happened next.
After hitting the kid with the tee shot, Mahomes wanted to make sure the young man was ok and to sign a few items for him. He even thanked him for “helping out” with the tee shot before signing the golf ball that hit him as well as his lanyard.
