Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was a guest on the Kelce brothers “New Heights Podcast” on Thursday and the Youtube views are already numbering in the hundreds of thousands. In this clip, Mahomes shares a never-before-heard draft story that will interest many of those in Chiefs Kingdom.
Mahomes stated that then QB coach Matt Nagy shared the Chiefs playbook with him the night before he interviewed with coach Andy Reid to give him a leg up. Mahomes went on to share with the Chiefs that if they let him go past the 12 spot, he would already be gone. The Chiefs famously moved up to 10 to take Mahomes.
