Nothing like another blowout Chiefs victory to get national pundits to wake up and pay attention to reality. ESPN’s Keyshawn Johnson spoke out on today’s “KJM” show and called out analyst and Chiefs-hater Bart Scott who famously picked the Chiefs to miss the playoffs this offseason. The Chiefs moved to 5-2 after a 44-23 win over the San Francisco 49ers yesterday which more than raised a few eyebrows.
The “KJM” show which also features Max Kellerman and Jay Williams all came to Johnson’s defense with positive comments about the Chiefs. Kellerman mentioned the narrative about KC struggling with Tyreek Hill, meanwhile Mahomes just went out and threw for 423 yards and 3 TD’s against the league’s #1 defense.
“Where’s Bart Scott when you need him?” Johnson asked. “I’m looking for Bart Scott. They are going to clinch the division.”
