The Chiefs are still reeling from the 20-17 loss they suffered at the hands of the previously winless Colts on Sunday. With time ticking away on the final play, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes looked to complete a pass over the middle in hopes of getting into field goal range.
There seemed to be confusion on the play and the pass was intercepted, ending KC’s hopes of a miracle comeback. Video has since revealed, WR Mecole Hardman may have flattened his route instead of running a pick route which would have aided JuJu Smith-Schuster in getting open on the play.
