The budding friendship between actor Henry Winkler and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has been a joy to watch unfold. Winkler had long been admiring Mahomes from afar when he told sports talk host Rich Eisen that he wanted to meet Mahomes and maybe even have dinner some day. The “Barry” star was even brought in as a special guest of the Mahomes family as the Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers back in November.
Now that KC has won the Super Bowl, Winkler is speaking out about the team’s greatness and he’s as big of a Mahomes fan as ever. Winkler joined the Rich Eisen Show once again last week to bask in the glory and to give well wishes to his BFF Patrick Mahomes.
“Patrick Mahomes is in the heavens somewhere, he plays on whole nother level,” Winkler said during the interview.
