To say it’s been a year of ups and downs for Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker would not be doing the phrase justice. The season began with an ankle injury against the Cardinals, one that Butker is still dealing with nine weeks later.
Just a few weeks removed from making a franchise record long 62-yard field goal, Butker is struggling mightily having missed an extra point and a 47-yarder in a 20-17 win over the Titans on Sunday Night.
Butker is making just 60% of his kicks in 2022, which is a far cry from his career 90.1% average.
