The Chiefs came out victorious against the San Francisco 49ers 44-23 today as the teams met for the first time since Super Bowl LIV. The Kansas City offense was spectacular today, racking up over 500 yards in the game but the defense also came up big sacking Jimmy Garoppolo four times on the day. Chiefs DE Frank Clark turned in 1.5 sacks of his own and did not mince words after the win.
Clark met with reporters after the game and did not hold back his thoughts on the dominant victory. It’s clear that Frank still remembers the Super Bowl where he was instrumental in the Chiefs 31-20 comeback victory back in February of 2020.
“We beat their a** in their stadium.” Clark said emphatically. “They talked all that s** and you see what happened.”
