It’s June so definitely time for national football pundits to start churning out horrible take after horrible take. The first offender this offseason is Fox Sports 1 host Emmaunel Acho. Acho is actually known for this and has been demonized in the past for his Chiefs takes. This one may take the cake, however.
On his show Speak, Acho talked about which quarterback could possibly dethrone Mahomes this season. Obviously, that’s not really possible considering only two other active QB’s have won a Super Bowl (Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford) and neither of these two veterans could remotely make an argument for being better than Mahomes. Nope, Acho went with an even worst take as he says Lamar Jackson is the only QB that could leap frog Mahomes with another MVP season.
