Chiefs fans and Chris Jones himself have been anxiously awaiting a contract extension from the Chiefs all offseason. GM Brett Veach has stated that talks are progressing but Jones has posted a few cryptic messages on his Instagram in the last few weeks eluding to the fact that the clock is ticking on making this happen. Chris was spotted yesterday at Arrowhead Stadium at the Q Kansas City BBQ Festival and posted a promising story to his IG.
Certainly, Chris is simply out there to sample some of the local BBQ but did make a point to take @Chiefs in his story saying “@Chiefs we outchea,” which is a small nod to the franchise and a message that he’s at the stadium enjoying himself.
