If only the porous Chiefs receiving room shared the same winning attitude as their quarterback… Let’s just say it’s been a rough year to be a KC receiver and it appears at least one of them is not willing to take any responsibility for his failures. Marques Valdez-Scantling has been a lightning rod this year as a result of poor play and some significant drops. Apparently, Marques is not aware that he dropped a pass that would have won the Chiefs a game against the Eagles. MVS got a little snippy with Fox 4 reporter P.J. Green when asked about how he’s been focusing mentally on getting better “with everything going on.”
“What do you mean everything going on?” MVS replied. “I don’t really know what you’re referring to. It is what it is. It’s football, you’re not going to make every play.”
