Iconic CBS broadcaster Jim Nantz was recently a guest on The Rich Eisen Show where he talked about a myriad of NFL-related topics. Nantz was quick to throw high praise at Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and joked that his CBS crew might live in Kansas City this fall with all the games they could be covering. Nantz went on to compare Mahomes to legendary golfer Tiger Woods during the interview.
“Listen, sometimes people grow weary or tired of winners and the story repeating itself, but it’s kind of like Tiger [Woods] back in his heyday,” Nantz stated. “You may root for him, a lot of people did, you may not root for him. And there were those out there that weren’t rooting for him because they just grew tired of watching him play all the time.“
