In a recent interview with The 33rd Team, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid talked candidly about how drafting and developing Donovan McNabb in Philadelphia influenced him to draft Patrick Mahomes.
McNabb played for the Eagles for 11 seasons and helped guide them to a Super Bowl appearance in 2005. Reid stated that “really is was that same process we went through with Donovan that we went through with Patrick.”
