While Chiefs DT Chris Jones sat out the first game of the 2023 season, NFL insider Adam Schefter is convinced that a new deal is eminent. Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show on Monday, Schefter indicated that Kansas City and Jones will “ultimately get a deal done.”
“Chris Jones at some point is going to get this deal done,” Schefter explained. “It’s probably going to be rather quick or sudden. You can close the gap pretty quick.”
