It’s hard to imagine a time in NFL history where the AFC West possessed more star power than it does currently. While the Kansas City Chiefs have racked up six consecutive division titles, the remaining three teams have been drafting and loading up to combat Kansas City’s reign for the past four years.

In a recent exclusive Starcade Media interview with CBS broadcaster and longtime NFL quarterback Trent Green, the topic was broached about the overall strength of the division and which teams has the leg up.

“I think you can make an argument for any of the four teams,” Green said. “I tend to think Kansas City, when you’ve won six division titles in a row, you’ve hosted four consecutive conference championships in a row, there’s a lot of things that are leaning the way of Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.”

Green will also be in Canton this weekend and will help welcome his former coach, Dick Vermeil into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Green played two seasons with the Rams (99 and 200) before joining the Vermeil-led Chiefs for six years.

You can hear Trent call the action on all three Chiefs preseason games in 2022 as well as doing color commentary for CBS all season long with his broadcasting partner Kevin Harlan.
