In an interview that aired Tuesday afternoon, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce spoke candidly with Fox Sports’ Shannon Sharpe about the difficulties of repeating as Super Bowl champions.

“Coming into it, all you can think about is the playoffs.” Kelce stated during the interview. “You want it to fast-forward, you want all these games to take care of themselves.”

The Chiefs finished with a franchise-best 14-2 record while locking up the 1 seed in the AFC playoffs (which begin this weekend). Beginning November 8th against the Panthers, the Chiefs would win seven straight games by six points or less which has prompted many to question the team’s motivation down the stretch.
