In what was a shock to absolutely no one, the SEC completely dominated yet again when it came to signing the nations top-flight football recruits. According to ESPN, seven of the countries top 10 recruits signed with an SEC school and it is clear that the conference will be the best in college football for years to come. Let’s take a look at the top-10 offensive and defensive recruits that signed with an SEC school on National Signing Day:

Offense

Murray is only 5’11 but possesses unreal athleticism and will be a nightmare for opposing defenses to contain. His down-field accuracy is solid, but is more dangerous when making plays with his feet ala Johnny Manziel.

2. Kerryon Johnson, RB, Auburn (Madison, AL)

The top rated high school player in the state of Alabama could play either running back or safety but will likely see time the earliest in the backfield for the Tigers. Johnson is a gifted athlete that also played receiver in high school.

3. Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama (Coconut Creek, FL)

Ridley has a boat load of natural instincts at the receiver position and could easily be the next Julio Jones or Amari Cooper if he is able to bulk up a bit in the weight room.

4. Tyron Johnson, WR, LSU (New Orleans, LA)

When you watch Johnson’s game films there are many attributes that stand out, but wow can this kid burn. He will be a welcomed addition to LSU’s current offensive situation which is average at best.

5. Blake Barnett, QB, Alabama (Corona, CA)

The Corona, CA native is bringing a west-coast flare to the Alabama offense and he certainly has the tools and measurables (6’5, 200) to be one of the best QB’s in the country in the next few seasons.

6. Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M (Scottsdale, AZ)

It was a huge accomplishment plucking Kirk from his native Arizona and Texas A&M’s impressive offensive recruiting continues with this ultra-talented receiver.

7. Preston Williams, WR, Tennessee (Lovejoy, GA)

This big, physical receiver should be a tremendous weapon in the Volunteer offense that will be a year older and more seasoned in 2015. Williams has tremendous ball skills and will be fighting for playing time immediately.

8. DaMarkus Lodge, WR, Ole Miss (Cedar Hill, TX)

Another receiving stud heading for Oxford, MS, Lodge has already been compared to Laquon Treadwell. Lodge has a great combination of size, speed and athleticism and his skills will likely be turning heads in Oxford sooner rather than later.

9. Martez Ivey, OL, Florida (Apopka, FL)

The top-rated offensive lineman recruit in America, Ivey should be well over 3 bills by the time August rolls around. He has great footwork and could be a force at left tackle for the Gators eventually.

10. Drew Lock, QB, Missouri (Lees Summit, MO)

The 6’3, 205 pound Lock is a very polished player that possess uncanny pocket awareness and accurate throwing ability. Could be the next legend at quarterback for the Missouri Tigers.

Defense

1. Byron Cowart, DE, Auburn (Seffner, FL)

The #1 recruit in the country according to ESPN, Cowart is a freak of nature physically and his pass-rushing skills are tremendous. Should provide a huge spark to an Auburn defense that struggled the past two seasons.

2. Terry Beckner Jr., DT, Missouri (East St. Louis, IL)

Physically imposing at 6’4, 300 and is an unstoppable force in the middle. Beckner could easily be the next great defensive lineman at Mizzou.

3. Trenton Thompson, DT, Georgia (Albany, GA)

Completely overpowered people at the high school level and at 6’4, 310, Thompson figures to be a load up front for the Bulldogs for years to come.

4. Daylon Mack, DT, Texas A&M (Gladewater, TX)

A&M desperately needed to bolster its defense and adding this monster is a great sign for the future. Mack is over 330 pounds but fires off the ball quickly for a guy his size.

5. CeCe Jefferson, DE, Florida (Glen Saint Mary, FL)

Jefferson is a prototypical pass-rusher that should fit in well with the Gators defensive scheme. He has awesome size, speed and ball hawking abilities and shows a tremendous ability to take on blocks.

6. Kevin Tolliver II, CB, LSU (Jacksonville, FL)

The Jacksonville, FL native has polished cover skills and the necessary speed and physicality to shut down SEC receivers.

7. Kendall Sheffield, CB, Alabama (Missouri City, TX)

Despite being under 200 pounds, Sheffield’s ability to make tackles in run support is extremely impressive. Should add some muscle in the off-season, but his speed and play-making abilities cannot be denied.

8. Khalil Mckenzie, DT, Tennessee (Concord, CA)

McKenzie is a complete monster of a human being at 6’4, 341. Has a law of raw ability that should translate to the SEC with a year or two of seasoning.

9. Minkah Fitzpatrick, CB, Alabama (Jersey City, NJ)

Fitzpatrick is a physical corner with freakish athletic ability. He is part of yet another loaded recruiting class for Alabama and it will be interesting if he is able to emerge on the Crimson Tide’s two-deep in a year or so.

10. Jamal Peters, S, Miss. St. (Bassfield, MS)

Peters is an extremely heady and hard-hitting player and was a huge get for Dan Mullen and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. He has great height for a safety at 6’3 and looks to make an immediate impact.
