The 6’4, 298 pound defensive tackle from East St. Louis, IL has had Mizzou very high on his radar for quite some time, although he still plans to take official visits to Auburn and Ohio State this month. When asked if Mizzou fans should be excited that his last remaining visit will be to Columbia on January 30th, he said that “they probably should be.”

Beckner’s East St. Louis coach Darren Sunkett recently said that Missouri is definitely the frontrunner to obtain Beckner’s services and that one of the biggest factors includes Mizzou’s track record of producing great defensive lineman.
