Mike Renner, lead draft analyst from Pro Football Focus was a guest on the Dan Patrick Show earlier this afternoon. After discussing a myriad of draft-related topics, Renner turned his focus to the Kansas City Chiefs.
“I’m scared to what that roster might look like in two years” Renner said. “They have 8 guys making over 14 million dollars a year. You should be going the Patriots route with a 20 year window instead of a one year window.”
Renner went on to discuss the fact that the Chiefs have 14 players making 8 million a year or more which he believes will hamstring the roster in the not so distant future.
