Would would NFL training camp be without a little humor? Chiefs DT Chris Jones found himself the victim of a hilarious prank that was probably not all that funny at the time. Jones, being the affable guy that he is, can now laugh off the incident and he told the story on air today during an episode of NFL Network’s “Inside Training Camp.“
Jones was supposedly returning to his dorm one night when he realized that he was not alone in his room.
“I open the door and I see this bad boy looking at me,” Jones said while point at a stuffed Bobcat. “I didn’t know if I was to run because I knew it would chase me if I ran. I was froze for a minute but I got myself together quickly”
The prank was pulled by none other than Chiefs head of security Brian Shaffer and was certainly a highlight on today’s show.
