It was another season filled with memorable moments and jaw-dropping plays for Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. The fifth-year starter is on the verge of winning his second NFL MVP award at age 27. Mahomes led the league in both passing yards and touchdowns as he guided the Chiefs to conference-best 14-3 record.
This week, when asked by the media to pick his favorite play of the season, Mahomes went with a moment that will never be forgotten by Chiefs Kingdom.
“Yeah, my favorite play probably would be the one to Jet in Denver just because it was one where I legit did not think I was throwing the ball at all.” Said Mahomes, “I was just trying to get the ball out of my hands as quickly as possible and then seeing it on the tv copy of it and seeing how it looked, it looked sweet – so that would probably be my favorite play of this season so far.”
