It’s hard to believe that Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is entering his fifth NFL season. The 26-year-old already has an NFL MVP, Super Bowl championship and Super Bowl MVP under his belt and has become one of the more respected players in the league. Mahomes recently addressed the team’s rookies and offered a special piece of advice for them to follow.

Mahomes took on a leadership role very early in his NFL career which has helped lead to the great success that he’s enjoyed. His advice to the current rookies is something each and every one of them should take to heart.

“I tell the to study as much as they can, then when they get to the game, go out there and play like you’ve done it your whole life. You’re in this position for a reason.”
