In the wake of the NFL’s new rules which allow players more freedom when it comes to picking jersey numbers, many current Chiefs are having fun with the idea.
After Chiefs safety Juan Thornhill joked about possibly taking the former Super Bowl MVP’s #15, Mahomes asked if he should bring back the #5 he wore during his college days at Texas Tech and at Whitehouse High School.
For those that have purchased a Mahomes #15, you likely won’t have to worry too much about a change as his trademark “PM15” and “15 and the Mahomies” foundation are fairly set in stone.
