What began as a promising career for Mecole Hardman in KC faded into oblivion as the former second-round pick signed with the Jets last week. Hardman was brought in, presumably, to try and replace the irreplaceable Tyreek Hill back in 2019 and the Chiefs took Hardman ahead of future star WR D.K. Metcalf to add insult to injury.
Hardman has moved on and signed a one-year deal for just over a million dollars and claims the Chiefs never really made an offer to his agent. Hardman has made excuses for having a subpar career throughout his four years in Kansas City and took to Twitter to continue the excuse making this weekend.
Hardman insinuates that, because the Chiefs had other good players on the roster, that it is unfathomable that he could be expected to live up to expectations. This mentality is the worst of the worst for a pro athlete and Hardman’s antics will not be missed in Kansas City.
