Experts seem to be torn on whether new Kansas City Chiefs 1st round pick, cornerback Marcus Peters, was the best at his position in the 2015 NFL draft or if that distinction was more suited for Michigan State cornerback, Trae Waynes. Marcus comes with some baggage after being kicked off the Washington Huskies football team in November of 2014, but it’s hard to question his athletic gifts and talent level. Peters plays with an intensity and ferocity on every snap and needs a coach who can harness that energy to keep it on the field of play; the Chiefs have that coach in Andy Reid and that’s why they felt comfortable making this pick. Here are some great videos analyzing Marcus Peters’ talent, the risk that goes with taking a player who was kicked off his team just a few shorts months ago, and everything you want to know about the new Kansas City Chiefs cornerback.
