Chiefs Kingdom collectively held its breath on Saturday during the team’s divisional playoff matchup against the Jaguars. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was injured in the first quarter which kept him out of action until after halftime.
While the injury did not keep Mahomes out long, the former Super Bowl MVP was clearly limited on the injured ankle. After the game, Mahomes stated that he was ready to roll and it was then reported he would have in additional MRI to confirm the nature of the injury.
