Just months after Instagram model Kayla Nicole spilled the full story about how she and Travis Kelce met, the couple have supposedly called it quits. The internet is abuzz with rumors about the breakup, and the reason may be surprising to many.
After five years of dating (which, according to Kayla, was initiated by her sending an Instagram DM) the two have removed photos of each other from their respective Instagrams and reports are saying the relationship ended as a result of Travis being, well, a cheap skate.
According to a piece written by Barstool Sports, Kelce frequently made Kayla split checks and go 50/50 on things the couple did in order for Kayla to prove her loyalty.

A friend of Kayla’s explained, “Travis is very cheap. In the beginning he tried to make Kayla ‘prove’ that she wasn’t with him for the money . . . so she had to pay half of everything.” The friend said. “Half of every date, every trip, everything.”
This is not the first time the couple has split. Rumors of the two splitting started over a year ago although they were able to reconcile. Something tells us that each individual will do just fine on the open market and we wish them both the best. Perhaps Kelce’s stance that he’s not playing football for the money has been substantiated once and for all!
