The Kansas City Chiefs lost their 4th game in a row on Sunday to the Chicago Bears by a score of 18-17. They lost a lot more than just the game on Sunday however, as their all-everything star running back, Jamaal Charles, is done for the season after tearing his right ACL on a non-contact injury.
In 2011, Jamaal Charles tore his left ACL in the second week of the season in Detroit, which was also a non-contact injury as he was ran out of bounds. Knile Davis and Charcandrick West will take over the duties in the backfield, but neither can replace the do-it-all back that the Chiefs have leaned on since Jamaal took over the starting role in Kansas City. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs are now 1-4 and with this injury they could be headed for an utterly disastrous season. We here at the Great American Sports Network wish Jamaal a speedy “Adrian Peterson-esque” recovery!
