The Chiefs have added star defensive tackle Chris Jones to this week’s injury report. The team confirmed Jones is questionable to play Sunday with the Texans with an “illness.” Jones has 11 sacks on the season, his largest sack total since 2018. KC remains relatively healthy despite this development as the rest of the active roster practiced this week.
Newly-acquired WR Kadarius Toney is also listed as questionable for the game. Toney has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury and it’s very likely the Chiefs will air on the side of caution here. The same goes for WR Mecole Hardman who returned to practice this week after being placed on IR. Andy Reid spoke this week about easing Hardman back in to game action so look for him to sit out at least one more week.
