DE Frank Clark bid farewell to the Chiefs and the Kansas City community less than a month ago as NFL free agency opened league wide. Clark played four seasons in KC and won two Super Bowls. Clark was released by the Chiefs as the two sides were unable to work out a realistic contract extension. A month later and Clark has yet to find a home with another team. Could Clark actually return to KC?
Nothing is concrete on that as of yet but a Twitter account called The Reid Option reported that Clark and the Chiefs have stayed in contact and that a return can’t be ruled out.
The move would make sense if a proper dollar figure can be worked out. The Chiefs will likely be dipping into the NFL Draft later this month to try to take another edge rusher to play opposite of George Karlaftis.
