LeSean McCoy may have only been a member of the Kansas City Chiefs for a short time but certainly made his mark during the 2019 season. McCoy rushed for over 400 yards and had four touchdowns during the Chiefs Super Bowl run. McCoy, now presumably retired, does not look back at his time in KC with fondness.

McCoy said in an a recent podcast interview with Brandon Marshall that differences between he and Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy are the reason he did not wish to return to KC after the Super Bowl win. He also had plenty to say about why he believes Bieniemy has not been given a head coaching job.

“I’m going to say this,” McCoy said during a podcast interview with Brandon Marshall. “There’s a reason they invite him every year to get a coaching job — head coach or offensive coordinator — somewhere else and he doesn’t get one. There’s a reason they ask him every year to look for a job — and when the time comes, nobody hires him because they know what kind of coach he really is.”
