Can Tabb earn himself a SOTN?

Only 24 games were on the docket last night, but we did not have to go very far to find 3 players who had very good nights to present you with today. Check it out:

  • Ladarius Tabb (Alabama A&M) – Tabb, a 6’5 junior guards who averages 16 points per game, had himself a very good night. He had 33 points and 12 rebounds in his teams 78-66 win over Alcorn State. Tabb was effective all over the court last night as he made three 3’s, got to the FT line 9 times and had numerous scores from the painted area from put-backs and drives. It has been a tough year for the A&M Bulldogs, but Webb is having himself a nice junior campaign, averaging over 16 points and scoring over 20 in four of his last five games.

  • Marcus Paige (North Carolina) – If you have not see Paige play, you need to do so. He has been very close to making SOTN numerous times this season, and finally broke through last night. Paige had 22 pts, 6 rebs, 8 assts, 1 blk and 4 stls in the 93-83 win over Syracuse. Paige is the best outside shooter, the leading scorer, and leading assist man for the Tar Heels. He is a do it all guard who is not real big, standing at only 6’1. Hopefully, for our sake, he comes back for his senior season.

  • Marcel Mosley (Arkansas-Pine Bluff) – The 6’0 senior guard for the Golden Lions was all over the place last night in his teams 105-68 whooping of Prairie View A&M. Mosley had 26 pts, 3 rebs, 7 assts, and 2 stls on the night, and he did not even get to play a full game! Mosley was very effective as he was a perfect 3-3 from the three point line as well as being a perfect 9-9 from the FT line. APB has had a tough season, but Mosley has been a real bright spot, and the Lions will sure miss him when he graduates.
