The Chiefs are currently knee-deep into retooling its defensive line this offseason as the team said goodbye to veterans Frank Clark and Khalen Saunders. While KC has done an adequate job in trying to acquire talent to replace Clark and Saunders, defensive leader Chris Jones would still like to see a couple of his former teammates back in the red and gold.
Jones took to Twitter on Monday to make a plea to former teammate Frank Clark, whom the Chiefs released back in March as he urges Clark to return so they can “finish it.”
Clark is still a free agent in search of a new team and could potentially be brought back for the right price. Jones didn’t stop there, however, as he also put out a bat signal to former teammate Mike Pennel.
