The NFL universe was shaken today by the blockbuster trade that sent Russell Wilson to Denver in exchange for several draft picks and two players. Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu has been eluding he will be testing the free agent market via Twitter and he posted a quick update after the news broke earlier.

In a post that has since been deleted, Mathieu stated “Wilson to the west…da#*…What could have been.” This Tweet certainly makes it obvious Mathieu plans on signing elsewhere in free agency and that he would have enjoyed playing against new Broncos QB Russell Wlson.
