Patrick Mahomes will have a new backup quarterback this season as it appears the Chiefs will sign veteran QB Blaine Gabbert. Gabbert, a former first-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, has spent the last four years as a backup in Tampa Bay. The former Mizzou prospect will take over for Chad Henne, who retired after Super Bowl LVII.
