The Chiefs, already without star DT Chris Jones may be going in to Thursday night’s season opener against the Lions even more undermanned as tight end Travis Kelce has sustained a knee injury in practice. Coach Reid told reporters that Kelce hyperextended his knee in practice today and his status for Thursday night is uncertain.
